If you want to visit Victoria Falls, you should visit both Zambia and Zimbabwe. The Devil’s Pool is on the Zambian side where you can actually swim at the edge of the waterfall.

Victoria Falls
Victoria Falls is the world’s largest sheet of falling water with a width of 5,608 feet. Mosi-oa-Tunya means the Smoke that Thunders, and for good reason. While its height is 354 feet, the mist rises 1,300 feet. Everywhere you go, you’ll see rainbows.
Devil’s Pool
Would you dare swim to the edge of the world’s largest waterfall? From Livingstone Island, swim past hippos and crocodiles to Devil’s Pool, the world’s most thrilling infinity pool. At the edge, watch as the Zambezi River’s raging waters flow past you, crash over the cliff, and drop down 320 feet.
Victoria Falls Bridge
The bridge connects Zimbabwe with Zambia as the Zambezi River below forms the border between the nations. At each end, there are border posts – at Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe and Livingstone, Zambia.
Copper Trucks
Once you reach the Zambian side, there is a road packed with slow moving copper trucks lined up in both directions. There’s no sidewalk, so you need to walk right next to them. Zambia is Africa’s second largest producer of copper.

Visa
Apply for the KAZA UNIVISA online for $50. The e-Visa will allow you to visit both Zimbabwe and Zambia for up to 30 days. You can also get the visa at the airport, but that will waste your much needed cash.
Cash
ATMs and credit cards don’t really work here. You need enough cash for your time here. If you run out of cash, try and find an ATM in Zambia that works. Convert currencies at the border.
Border Crossings
For those who love passport stamps, this is the place to be. You get two stamps for each crossing: one each at the exit post and the entry post. It’s a mile from one border post to the next and over six miles from the border to Livingstone. Take a taxi to Livingstone.RECOMMENDED LODGINGS
Royal Livingstone
The luxurious Royal Livingstone is right at the edge of the Zambezi River in Zambia. It’s worth a visit for the views and a meal even if you can’t afford to spend a night there.
